Tuesday Afternoon: Infineon Girls Photo Shoot

Had a fun day shooting images for the 2011 Infineon Raceway Girls Poster. We had two lovely Models, Ashleigh (Model Mayhem link) and Mariah (Model Mayhem link). Both ladies are local and really pop in person and on camera.

We shot this "gorilla" style at 8 locations around Infineon Raceway, in about two and half hours. This time out I used the Canon 5dMark II, 70-200 f2.8 and 17-40 f4.0. Lighting was a combination of single 580exII flash on camera, natural sunlight using white reflectors and white silk to cut some harshness.

The girls were professional and experienced plus I had two assistants for model direction and light control to make our work flow smooth. 

The results are excellent and we came away with about 290 images. I would expect 4-6 final images after all is said and done. That's a good number for the work we did. I hope Infineon and the girls like the final product.  I will post a follow-up with a few sample images after the selection process is complete.

Infineon Raceway Posts Indy Car Event Photo Gallery

The Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma Just wrapped at Infineon Raceway weekend before last. Will Power was Pole man and led every lap of the race for his 5th win of the season. Check out some of my images as well as other Infineon Photogs work at the Infineon Raceway Multimedia Gallery.

Event: West Coast Moto Jam (aka AMA Superbike)

Just finished up shooting the weekend's racing events at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. This was the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Pro Racing event which included road racing, motocross, supermoto and flat track. I was covering the road racing for the racetrack and supplied press images to several outlets.
